We believe memories deserve to be lived, deserve a place in the spaces where life happens, not just stored.

What started as a project for my dad became a piece of my own purpose... and I'd love for you to be part of the beginning. 

Willy Memories began with a special kind of memory.

It began with my dad.

At 80 years old, my dad was preparing to move to the United States, and we were looking for something meaningful for him to do, a project we could build together that would keep his hands moving, his mind active and his days filled with purpose.

He had spent his entire life working for himself, running his own hardware store in Peru. Work was never just work to him; it was independence, it was movement, it was problem-solving, it was having a reason to get up every morning.

So, we imagined this little fun project to do together.

I wanted him to have orders to prepare, simple numbers to calculate, packages to put together and lovely people to serve. I wanted him to feel needed, useful, capable.

I wanted him to know that age was just another number we would learn to work with, not something that could ever stop him from offering the world what only he can bring.

We were excited about it, we talked about it, we choose this and imagined what it could become and then, unexpectedly, on March 11, God called him home.

By God's Mercy, i was next to him when that breaking moment happens and for a while, I thought about letting the project go too, but somewhere along the way, I realized that what we had imagined together was still worth bringing to life. Continuing this project became part of how I found my way forward and a way to honor something we had once dreamed about together.

Today, by God’s Grace, I see that even in that goodbye, he left me a reason to keep moving forward, with gratitude for the incredible father I was blessed to have. 

What started as a project for my dad became a piece of my own purpose. Today, every order I prepare carries a piece of what my dad and I once dreamed of building together.

Through Willy Memories, I hope to honor his legacy by bringing little moments of joy into the lives of other families, because as we grow older, the smallest things often become the most meaningful: A photograph, a handwritten note, a familiar face in the kitchen, a memory you can see every morning, a reminder that someone you love will always have a place in your life.
